Other important components of the skid consist of instruments for pressure, temperature, density, manual or automated isolation valves, current switching valves, Prover take-off valves, flow computers normally mounted on the panel and other auxiliary piping and mechanical components, electrical fittings, structural steel, etc.

It is mainly used in the transfer of hydrocarbons such as Crude Oil, Natural Gas, LPG, Diesel Oil, etc.
